Footing Information
- Diameter: 12"
- Thickness: 8"
- Depth To Top of Footing: 40"
- Concrete Per Hole: 1 60lb bag (Pressure Rating: 4000 lbs)
The holes are so deep I couldn't get good pictures of the footings but they are in there. I mixed the concrete one bag at a time in a wheelbarrow and poured in. I used a 2X4 in each hole to settle the concrete and smooth it out as best as I could. The footing dimensions are exactly what they need to be for the deck I have built. The weight each will support has been calculated and from that the footing size has been calculated (I used Best Deck Site's "toolbox" for these calculations ). Footings cured for 1 week before bearing any weight.
