Site Purpose:
I created this site to share my own deck building experience. I'm sharing all photos and information about my deck. I hope this can be an inspiration and confidence builder for others thinking about a deck project. Also please leave me comments in my comments section!!
My experience:
NONE!! This was my first deck. I had no prior experience. With a few tools, some research and a plan I was able to build this deck! The illustrations will show that this deck not only looks nice but is structurally sound and is built 100% to code!! As long as you have a good information source anyone can build a deck!
The rewards
I found building my own deck very rewarding. Not only did it come out exactly the way I wanted it but I saved a TON of cash!!! I still can't believe I was able to build something like this with no experience!
